From 10am to 2pm at Willow Park, north lawn. Expect alumni reunions, a splash pool, treat stalls, and a relaxed pack walk at noon. Leashed pets welcome.

Volunteer Open House
Tour the shelter, meet the team, and find your own way to help.
Drop in between 11am and 3pm for kennel tours, cattery cuddles, and crew sign-ups — walking, fostering, transport, and events. Orientation at 12pm sharp.
Sun, Sep 6Riverside Run
Off-Leash Play Day
Supervised off-leash fun with temperament-tested shelter dogs and guests.
From 9am to 1pm at Riverside Run. Small-dog hour first, then open play with our trainers on hand. Bring vaccination records for guest dogs.

Weekend Adoption Fair
Meet dozens of adoptable dogs, cats, and small pets in one happy place.
From 10am to 4pm at Old Market Square. Same-day meet-and-greets, waived fees for senior pets, and a foster advice tent for the curious.
