Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to Your
Adoption Questions

Browse the adoption profiles, send an application for the pet you love, then come in for a meet-and-greet. After a quick home check, you sign the papers and take your new friend home.

Most of our residents are dogs and cats, and we regularly care for rabbits, birds, and other small pets too. The adoption page always shows who is currently looking for a home.

Every adoption includes vaccinations, a microchip, spay or neuter surgery, a full veterinary health check, and a starter kit with food, guidance, and a month of free support calls.

Please bring a photo ID, proof of address, and — if you rent — written permission from your landlord. If you already have a pet, bring their vaccination records as well.

Yes — fosters are the bridge between rescue and forever homes. We provide food, supplies, and veterinary care; you provide the love, the couch, and the patience.

Fill in the volunteer form, join a Saturday orientation, and pick your crew — dog walking, cat socializing, events, transport, or fostering. No experience needed.

You can give once or monthly through our mission fund, sponsor a kennel, or drop off food, blankets, and toys at the shelter any day between 9am and 6pm.

When we have space, yes. Call ahead so we can prepare, and bring any medical history you have. If we are full, we will help you find a trusted partner shelter.
